Post-apocalyptic Noir, Ironwood Hills in Second Life

It is dark in Ironwood Hills – captivating, but dark. So much so that a flashlight is provided and I’ve had to lighten these images so you can see anything.

The build is based loosely on Silent Hill, which has one of those creepy story lines so many people enjoy. I’m not a fan of the horror genre, but there are some really cool images for those of us who like to take pics.

If you’re into post-apocalyptic noir roleplay, you’ll get a kick out of creating stories in this moody city. I ran into a “departed” individual – in fact, the lost soul made sure I had my flashlight. I suspect she’s the missing wife from one of the Silent Hill installments.

For those who need a break from sun & sand, or pretty & sweet, this is a great place to explore. You might want to bring a friend though. I don’t know that you can trust all of the inhabitants.
