Still Life with Furnishings in Second Life

Typically, when I go visit a sim, I’m attracted to/fascinated by the outdoors; the streets, building facades, and landscapes. This is almost invariably true for store locations.

I can’t show you any of that today. My camera refused to leave the display areas of Fuubutsu-dō.

I didn’t actually make it to the store. What I wandered into were tiny groups of wooden buildings with arrangements of furnishings, and other household items, that are available somewhere else on the island.

I wish I could show you everything I saw – you’ll just have to go experience the tea ceremony (among other things) yourself. I realized at one point that I had spent 30 minutes in just the sick room. Who would think that subject could look like art?

I’m going to go back and find that shop – there are pieces I really want to have. First I’ll have to finish exploring all those little structures though.

You can find her blog here, and check out her blog roll. There are some more gems on that list I plan to put on my itinerary!

Note: I stopped putting the large version of my images here because they took too long to load for many people. You can usually find the clearer full sized photos on my Koinup page.
