The Art of Time in Second Life
We keep, mark, tell, manage, pass, take, waste, track, spend, travel, kill, and run out of it. Forever too fast or too slow; it is interesting, desperate, and everything.
We equate it with money, with fate, with what we want the most but “use the worst”. We measure it in nanoseconds and millennia, and spend fortunes designing ways to analyze and optimize it.
It controls and marks the passage of our lives. We curse it and celebrate it, but the two things we cannot do are control or reverse it.
These are some of the thoughts that may occur to you as you sit in the pod and take the tour of Solkide Auer’s TimeWalkers↑. I know they occurred to me. :)
