Kylie Jaxxon’s sim, The Trace, has moved to an eponymous region↑. Always a stunning landscape, this new version is calm and filled with the sounds of birds and waves.
I tried a few bird portraits and failed miserably, but the worst was the Canada Goose, it would not cooperate. This is not indicative of the behaviour of most citizens of this country.
I want to give my regular readers a small heads up – more than a month in advance, and you won’t remember, but it’s on my mind. This year I’ll celebrate a regularly scheduled quadrennial bout of insanity.
I’m being as productive as possible in the runup to this event, but sleep deprivation/obsession/distraction will begin on June 12↑. So for about a month I will be checking in less frequently. There will, however, be a few trips back to The Trace↑ for needed reminders of sanity.

/ April 30, 2014I will visit this Sim soon; amazingly beautiful. I kept the page open from this blog post, and kept thinking the field and fence picture was a photo of first world. Just gorgeous, Ms. Jaxxon. And, Ms. McMillan, your photos are awesome and I also appreciate your humor here.

/ April 29, 2014Would you kindly keep your geese in Canada? Like northerners who spend winters in Florida, these geese make the annual round-trip with an extensive layover in my area, where they wander into the roads, honk angrily, and turn everything green – not in a good way. I propose a very high border fence to keep them on your side.

/ May 1, 2014Why are they called Canada Geese anyway?
They behave less like Canadians and more like…well, Honour and I know who they might behave like, eh?
