A Tiny Roleplay Misunderstanding in Second Life

There’s no need to panic, I’m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding. It’ll be sorted out as soon as somebody has a spare moment.

While we wait I’ll explain that I finally got back inworld today and went to visit a new roleplay sim called Drakkar↑. This is a wonderful build, a combination of fantasy and that great period around the 5th to 12th centuries in Europe.

I was really looking forward to doing some exploration. The good news is that real life now includes a modern kitchen faucet, freshly shampoo’ed carpets and cats that have been pilled.

The bad news is that I’m forced to remain offline for much of the time these days. In addition, I have to go shopping which I dislike enormously. (That reminds me – I need to pick up more band-aids and polysporin.)

When I landed in Drakkar↑, I found myself in this system of caves which was unusual enough an introduction to convince me I’d be able to forget my todo list for at least a little while.

I cammed around a bit and then headed off to investigate this town. That’s when it happened and, again, I’m sure it’s all just a big mistake.

I can tell you from first hand experience that there’s a rather large group of prison cells underneath the castle. I haven’t had an opportunity, yet, to find out exactly how I got there. It’s very dark and I can’t find a door.

I have noticed other prisoners, unfortunately they seem to be dead. Once my voice recovers I’ll start shouting again – I’ve probably just been forgotten during a shift change or something.

Someday we’ll all laugh about this. Really!

    Falsely imprisoned? A likely story!

  2. I’ll contact the Embassy for you again and start the usual paperwork. Honestly, Honour? How many more times will I have to bail you out?
