The Sand Hills Country of Second Life

The Sand Hills Country (moderate)

You don’t have to be as fond of desert landscapes as I am to love The Sand Hills Country↑. It’s a rural area being taken over by the encroaching sand, but it’s not barren or lifeless and it’s stunningly beautiful.

The owner/builder/designer of the sim, Sei Ixtar↑, is very generous. For those of you looking for a place to rez your photo props this is one you must check out. It’s not a sand box, but he does allow you to place whatever essential elements you need.

I suspect his friendly demeanor and willingness to accomodate visitors’ needs have led some to take advantage.

Sei has a few rules which you should read. The name of the sim (Lust) might imply “adult” but it’s a moderate region – so he doesn’t want to see your dangly bits.

The rules really can be summarized as common sense & consideration. That shouldn’t be too difficult, right?  No space ships and no nudity and please clean up after yourselves.

This is a gorgeous place with a friendly owner. I’ve added it to my landmarks. :)

I fell in love with The Sand Hills Country the moment I visited last month & owe Miro Collas many thanks for the introduction to Sei’s place.

Hey, you’re way ahead of us as well. It’s getting to the point where I go to review a destination and feel I need to simply write “Wot Honour sez, K?” :D
