Fish & Bubbles in Second Life

The Arrival (moderate)

It all started with a fish. From there – an adventure with even more fish. In fact, piscaphobes (pescaphobes?) should probably just go somewhere else now. :)

Rose Borchovski↑ has (finally) opened her new installation on LEA23↑. The Arrival↑ is fun and thoughtful and a wonderful way to spend some time.

You will find her notes on the meaning/inspiration for the exhibit on both the LEA site and when you arrive. So I’m going to be all shallow and just give you a taste of the experience.

A giant fish. A giant fish and her Susa Bubbles. It’s intricate and gorgeous and interactive. In other words, it’s Rose and it’s wonderful .

You’ll receive your own bubbles at the landing spot and then teleport onto the back of the biggest fish I’ve ever seen.

As you make your way along the spine you will trigger things – make sure you have sounds on.

I say she “finally” opened this work because I’ve been dropping in for a while now. Every time I did, the parcel info insisted it wasn’t ready and I shouldn’t take photos. sigh

I’m very pleased she’s now inviting us to interact and enjoy all the surprises she’s created on an admittedly strange path. Oh, and there are fish! Go visit↑ – you’ll have fun.
